Wow. What a weekend!

I’m still trying to recover from the awesomeness that happened at Club4Play on Saturday night, where Back 2 Basics held an event especially for people like me… Mission 3: The Locals! A big thanks goes out to all who appeared to see me play and especially to Nathan Fuller who first suggested that I play at such a prestigious event. A great time was had by all!

In related news, some of the DJs featured at The Locals gig will continue to play supporting roles at future Back 2 Basics events, including yours truly! So be sure to keep an eye out for when the next gig is coming up… because there’s a fair chance that I’ll be there too!

One final thing: Those of us that played were lucky (we think… still need to check that it turned out okay) that a full recording was made of Saturday night! This means that very soon we will have my first LIVE mix available for download! In the meantime, I hope to have something plastered on these walls to keep you all going.

On another note, if you find yourself with not much to do on New Years Eve (or you really, really like my mixes!), I’ll be playing in the beer garden upstairs at The Bended Elbow in Geelong. Be prepared for some awesome electronic music not unlike the things I’ve posted on this site… perfect to bring in the new year!
